Service Provided: Inspection of all phases of building construction. Issuance of building, Septic, Manufactured Housing, Excavation and Demolition Permits. Issues Certificates of Occupance. Oversees all construction projects in Mineral County. Interprets the international Building Code, International Fire Code, Mineral county Code, National Electrical Code, International Mechanical Code, International Blubing Code, Life Safety and others codes as required. Interprets building plans, blueprints, electrical schematics and charts for snow load, wind load and seismic zoning. Enforces NRS 624 and NAC 624. Issues violation citations and stop work orders. Coordinates with the Nevada State Contractors Board. FEMA Floodplain Management and Elevation Certificates coordination. Reports directly tot he Board of Mineral County Commissioners.
